Akl Taib respects your privacy. The short version: we collect no personal data, we don't require an account, and we don't use trackers or ads.
What we don't collect
The app doesn't ask you to sign in or create an account. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, location, or device information (beyond what the operating system requires to run the app itself).
Data stored locally on your device
The following is stored only on your device and never sent to any server: your chosen language, foods and plans you've favorited, foods you've recently viewed, and whether you've finished onboarding. All of this is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
Feedback and reports
When you submit a suggestion or report from within the app, your device's default email client opens with a pre-filled message. You decide whether to send it. The message reaches us through your normal email provider — we use no tracking pixels and never share your email address.
Website (akltaib.com)
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles visitor requests for security and performance. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic counts: no cookies are set, no individual identifiers are collected, and no cross-site tracking is performed.
Future content updates
We may later add a feature that lets us update content (food list, recipes) without you needing to download a new app version. Even when this is enabled, we will not collect any personal data, and the service will not log who downloaded what content.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for general adult audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. The app contains no ads and no in-app purchases.
Your rights
Because we collect no data, there is no personal data to request or delete. To remove everything the app stores on your device, simply uninstall the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
